Great article! I am preparing to cut my first hay crop (early in July) at our small ranch in Montana and have a good population of white tails. Two days ago, I almost stepped on a fawn nestled in the grass, so I am becoming aware of the need to watch for them. I am considering some tactics (large plastic garbage bags attached to poles in the ground) put out a week or so in advance to scare the moms and fawns out of the fields to be cut. Does anyone have any experience with this? Karl
