Hunt high, wash your clothes with scent-free detergent, and don't put them on until your out of your car and ready to walk to your stand. Also, forget about bait--if a buck smells you or sees you he's not coming in. Make sure to shower with scent-free soaps during the season, too. It seems that sometimes Tink's and other scents actually scare deer away. I rarely use scents products.

Can anyone help me? I need to know how to get a buck. I have tried everything from corn to salt to Tink's 69 doe in rut buck lure, but nothing is working. What can I do that will help me see a buck?

Your advice on late season hunting make sense. However, the challenge I have been placed with is taking a friend hunting with is son for first time, for a late season hunt with temperatures in the 20's, full moon, and a north east wind for the night. The date is December 12, and I will email with the results.
